I imagine these landers to be light, small engines, enough fuel for 1800dV to return to Kerbin with aerobraking. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=927709174 Using Terrier, TWR is below 1 so its pointless. Next type of engine is twice as heavy and TWR is unnecessarily powerful. My thought is to add more/bigger fuel tanks, but it seems that the lander itself will become huge, is this normal ?
